FINDING CONTENTMENT WHILE WAITING

Every blessed new dawn I’m convinced about the need to reach out to you through my writing. I hope you not only read from this space but you come to the knowledge of light and truth. I’m praying for you friend!

Let’s dive into today’s gist!!! You should know I will not serve it if it’s not spicy……

Are you waiting for something like me? How long have you been praying? Does it seem you will never get an answer? Do you think God doesn’t hear you?. Well, If you are a regular here, you definitely could guess right to what I will say. God’s ears are so big He hears us ALL.

When I was in my teenage year, I know how much I fantasized about finishing my first degree at a certain age, getting married, running my business, raising my own family, and every miscellaneous you think a teenage girl could dream of. Guys, I waited four years before I could get into the university. What if I tell you I have passed the age I pictured myself getting married but here I am still waiting joyfully because I know for sure God’s got it all planned for me. I once told myself I was a late bloomer. I felt so pained but sincerely everything was worth the wait.

I had to tell you a bit about my story to let you know I have experienced what it means for someone to WAIT. Not even just waiting but also maintaining a positive attitude through it all. I remember how I was completely sold out to God and His work and I’m still so much busy for Him. Friends, Waiting can be hard!!!. Honestly, it really can be hard especially when we live in a society where everything is now on the fast track.

In times of waiting, It can be hard to remain patient but I plead with you not to take matters into your hands. Do not lean on your own understanding. We might be ignorant of the full picture now but there is always a reason God is telling you to wait. You need no question now but simply trust Him.

Don’t ever be caught doing some comparison. You are only trying to steal your joy at the moment away. Don’t attempt to do so, please!!! Comparison sometimes leads to jealousy and I’m sure you don’t want to be on this table. It’s really a circle you must detach yourself away from. Be satisfied with whatever season you are in your life and trust God to take you to the next season. Before you get so eager to jump into another season, make sure you are ready because every season of your life comes with a price. Are you ready to pay the price???

Just so you know, I’m also on my journey of finding contentment while I wait. You are not alone. Find contentment and satisfaction knowing fully well that God will come through for you whenever you need something. God is intentional about you.

I will like to share this with you that I am learning about myself daily and my faith is larger and stronger than it has been in the past. I’m also learning to be content in my journey while I wait without comparison. This season has opened me up into a larger part of my purpose. I devote a large amount of my time to writing, reading, and learning how to become a better ME. While you are waiting friend, Delight yourself in God. Get to inquire about your purpose and pursue it.
